Everett is nearby major cities like Lynnwood and Seattle, so Everett is often used as a middle-ground. Overall, I’d say Everett is a lovely place to live in if you enjoy a nice blend of both urban and suburban, plus wonderful scenery! Western WA in general has an expensive housing market.
